Privacy Policy

Last updated 18 July 2026

AcheNest is built so your health information stays with you. There is no account, no server, no sync, and no analytics. The app does not collect your data because there is nowhere for it to go.

Summary: Your logs, voice, and settings stay on your device, encrypted at rest. Nothing is uploaded. Data leaves only when you explicitly export or share it.

What we collect

Nothing. AcheNest has no user accounts and talks to no server we run. We do not collect, receive, store, or have any access to your entries, your voice, your device identifiers, or usage analytics. We hold no copy of your record.

Where your information lives

Voice stays on the device

When you speak a log, speech is transcribed using on-device recognition only. Audio is never sent to a server. If a device has no on-device recogniser available, the voice feature stays disabled rather than routing your voice anywhere else. The transcript is turned into a draft entry by a local interpreter with no AI model and no network access.

When information leaves the device

Data only ever leaves your device when you choose to send it. There are two ways out, and each one takes a deliberate action from you:

In both cases AcheNest does not record where the file goes, and we receive nothing. What you do with an exported file is governed by the privacy terms of wherever you send it.

No tracking or advertising

AcheNest contains no analytics SDKs, no advertising, no third-party trackers, and no crash reporting that includes your log content. We do not build a profile of you and there is no identifier tied to your record.

Data retention and deletion

Because the record is only on your device, you control its lifetime. Delete individual entries in the app, or remove the app to remove the record. On Android, uninstalling the app destroys the record, since the encryption key does not survive reinstall and the database is excluded from cloud backup. Keep an encrypted backup if you want a copy that survives a reinstall or a new phone.

Children

AcheNest is intended for use by adults tracking their own symptoms. It is not directed at children, and we collect nothing from anyone who uses it.

Changes to this policy

If the app ever changes in a way that affects this policy, we will update this page and revise the date above. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
